Meditation is a journey from activity to silence. Just as we exercise our body, we must learn to exercise our mind. Settling into quieter and quieter levels of awareness allows us to eventually experience the silence within. There have been over 1,000 studies conducted on the benefits of meditation. It has been proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve memory and focus, expand creativity and improve relationships. These are just a few of the more basic benefits. Many more complex physical and psychological improvements have also been proven.
Instruction includes methods and techniques to create a deeper more meaningful meditation experience. Primordial sounds are based on 108 sounds based on the sounds found in nature. These sounds are aligned with specific seasons and times throughout the year. The date and time of your birth are used to determine your specific mantra, or primordial sound. Recent medical studies have proven the profound effect meditation has on the regrowth of telomerase, the emotions, higher levels of consciousness and rejuvenation of the spirit. Scientific studies have shown that the chemistry of the brain can actually change from meditation and have a profound effect on genes, DNA and youthfulness.
